This project is an expansion proposal for Mercado La Paloma, located at 3655 S. Grand Ave in Los Angeles. Developed as the final assignment for ARCH 102B, the design integrates key concepts from earlier projects in the course, combining a rule-based approach from Project 1 with in-depth site analysis from the precedent study. Building upon previous 3D massing studies, the project explores formal strategies while incorporating programmatic and contextual features observed throughout the semester.
